It will be hard to live without your podcast over your hiatus, but I'll learn to live, I guess; I'll just try to develop my Rose/Hurley theory.
So who's ahead of me on the prize list? And what are the prizes given to those on the prize list? And how long have the people above me been on this list?

Haha, ok. Just wanted to comment on the cast.
First off, ZUNES ARE AMAZING! I personally own one and I just can't see why any ipod owner wouldn't want a zune! The reasons are numerous, so I won't sprout them off here, but I listen to the cast every week on a zune (and Im proud to say it!).
Second-Definately upset that you aren't doing any shows in November, but hopefully I'm not going too far off topic when I say that I hope the video cast (*gasp* Who said that?) is what you were refering to with all the "visual-type" hints that were dropped.
Finally, Only one more week till LOCKETOBER! I got my friend Marco listening to the cast now. Locke is his favorite-he keeps telling me how great Locke is and blah blah blah, so I'll make sure he catches the next cast.
Oh yeah, random question, how can I get on this so called "prize list"? Do you (almost typed "yall")have real bumper stickers and such?

Molty, you're looking at the wrong list. It's the "Most Concieted" list.
The real list has me at the top (of course), then the Wootinator, then UCL, then lostie108, then the entire SSPBD (me again!).
I have not tried the other technology out there, but I LOVE my IPOD. I bought it for watching LOST episodes, but it does so much more. I use it at the gym, waiting at the doctor's, and for falling asleep at night. It is my mini entertainment center. I'm not saying its better or worse than anything else out there, but its what i'm use to at this point. I gave my parent's my mini and now they have no freakn' clue how to use it. Maybe if they stopped erasing the music off their computer....
I still have to finish listening to the cast. It usually takes a few nights cause I put it on when going to bed. I usually only hear about 10 min before drifting off to dreamland each time. This way it lasts longer!!!
The time you told the story about my vacationing during the season finale I thought I was dreaming and had to rewind.
One more topic. Everytime there is a medical emergency everyone will run to Jack cause he is the doctor. What about Dr. Bernard?! As a dentist he should at least have training to deal with infection. I swear dentists get no respect lol! Oh well maybe I'm just bitter becasue I too am not Rambo, but just a dentist. I loved that line!!!!!

Depending on the release date of your "Net"cast ("NETCAST" is taken from Leo Laporte, which I prefer to PODcast) I listen to you on your BlogSpot, iTunes, and if I use my iPod when in transit on my hour and a half work commute. I like the minicast, as it allows me to typically fit in an older cast I missed, and also get the updates off the mini cast. You guys have a great format, and I appreciate the light-heartedness of the show.
As for the healing powers of the island...Q.O.T.W(sorry Q.O.the.W.)
First off, I am kind of a LOST scholar; I really research the show, and its claims/mythology/ideals. Here is my take on the healing properties...
Recently it has been proven that humans contain magnetite. Researchers have found magnetite clusters near the brain’s all-important, magnetically sensitive pineal gland, which secretes hormones affecting the entire body. Magnetism is now being especially effective n treating spinal cord injuries (Locke), and researches have successfully levitated a frog using the frogs on magnetic field (Black Smokey?). We all know the island has an enormous magnetic field (it brought the plane down). Whether it’s generated or contained by "pushing the button" we know it is there. This magnetic field theoretically could also produce holes in the fabric of time itself. Magnetism therapy has been around for thousands of years, and I believe it to be paramount to the healing properties of the island, and also time travel, the smoke monster, and all things on the island. Maybe Walt, Locke, even Ben, and of course Jacob, have an intense magnetic field which is the same pole as the islands. Maybe the "box" that grants wishes is a field isolation chamber that harnesses and magnifies ones own magnetic properties...I may be getting to "Heroes" here. Anyway, that’s my thoughts.

I love to hear what you (and molty up there) have to say on my posts, as insignificant as they may be.Also, off topic here, I was really relieved to know you weren't like 30 years old reading my blog.That's kinda where my rambling was headed. Do you know how naive that stuff could sound??? But all worrying aside, Its good to know that I was wrong.
