I have a confession to make. I did not remain spoiler free before the season finally! :: queue debby downer music:: NO in fact.. I saw a spoiler about the entire last show, almost scene by scene and no matter how hard I tried.. I COULD NOT STOP READING! Bah.. so I knew all along watching the show that Jack was trying to reach Kate and it was a flash forward. Meh.. throw tomatoes at me!
On a side note.. I got to thinking. When Kate said she had to get back cause "he" would wonder where she was.. perhaps that was her son, could she really be pregnant right now on the island? It was mentioned in the last show that Juliet wanted to know if she was.
Also.. being that we are just seeing this flash forward I think we will be seeing more in season 4. Could it be by chance that they already made it back to the island? Maybe we will be seeing more flash forwards which are really.. flash backs! DA DAn DAAAAA!(Chris you took my idea!)
And one last thing.. I think the person in the coffin was someone they will introduce in season 4 that we don't know much about..

The Flash forwards.. I really think we'll be seeing more. The writers certainly can't make that the last flash forward!
I agree with you about the person in the casket at Hoffs Drawlar Funeral home. It's possibly an important character we have yet to meet and the writers are setting us up.
I'm glad somebody appreciated my efforts even though I was ill - I attempted to make it in to work but after drawing a fever, doc said no but Brian was willing to risk his health and still record with me so BIG kudos go to Brian - He must really love Lost! Ha..
