i think kate is undercover for someone...not sure who. why did she want Myles to tell her what he knew about her? im sure it wasnt that she was a fugitive because that would be well known. i think she wanted to know if her cover was blown.

also, im wondering if she tricked clair and thats how she got aaron.

i also think her mom is faking being sick (jacob healed her cancer) She wanted to see her "grandson" because she knows its not kate's. kate sees right through her mom and thats why she said "were done in here" and wont allow her mom to see aaron. she doesn't want anyone to see aaron because she know he is in danger.

everyone who didn't like this episode has to go back and look again because i think there is a lot of hidden clues.
how about when bens tells locke he is "evolving"or when locke tells ben to reread the book.

Yeah, this episode didn't impress me. But it seems these episodes prove to be pivotal in the future. All episodes can't be great i understand that. I think Locke is becoming a real jerk. But I know how that goes also. You know Sawyer i think is my favorite character now.

My brother is just getting in to Lost (he watched seasons 1-3 in the past month... I was so proud... on a side note, can you imagine being able to watch so many new episodes in a row??)

Anyways, I thought this episode was great.

I was at first concerned with the fact that Kate would have came back to LA having a kid because there was no way she would have a baby that is Aaron's age without people knowing that she was pregnant before getting on the flight.

Of course there has to be some LOST way to resolve this because she's a high profile survivor and it would be relatively easy to prove that she wasn't pregnant as she was taken into custody in Australia. When Kate gets off the island, Aaron should be approximately 3 months old. Anyone who has ever known anyone who has a baby will tell you "This is little Aaron at 3 months... 6 months" etc and they look very different...

There had to be a time difference explanation. Of course we already know that the island has some sort of effect on time, most apparently when coming onto the island. If Daniel's rocket experiment was 30 minutes different in an experiment that should have taken seconds then we can assume that time has gone by much quicker off the island. By this rationale, the public may believe that Kate and the Oceanic 6 have been surviving on the island for much longer, say a few years even. Given this, the media may not even have to suspect that Kate may be lying about the baby because of his age.

8 Survivors?

I didn't catch this the first time but I heard Jack say on the stand just before Kate cut him off "she tried to save the other two..."

hey guys....
just wanted to say that i think miles is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters....he is biting and sarcastic, but without the inherent sweetness of sawyer, so he adds an interesting flavor to the show; something a little different. despite the crazy mouth grenade, i dont think (and i hope) that we havent seen the last of him!!

In response to some of the time dilation theories happening with this episode, i think that it is obvious that some real time has gone by since they came back; jack has physically aged- you can see greying at his temples and some new lines on his face. i think if they had just gotten back and time spent was just on the island, he wouldnt look any older. and besides, it takes awhile in real life for cases to come to court, so there is no telling how long that has been either.

excited for next week's show, it has become one of the highlights of my week!!

I'm a listener from Argentina. I love the podcast. Y just have one comment. During this week episode we realise Doc Fareday has some sort of memory problem, amnesya or somethig like that. Yesterday I watch confirmed dead again and I realice that is why miles has to explain the "sister" code to him, and that's why he trust kate and jack at the begining and also it kind of explains why he knows nothing about the extrange equipment they where getting to the island (the suits and gas masks). It may even has a conectiin in with why was he crying when he saw the news about the 815 in the tv. WOW

I really don't think that Kate stole Aaron, tricked Claire out of Aaron, or whatever. I understand that there is some sort of conspiracy going on right now between the survivors and the people still on the island, but maybe Claire gave Kate her son to watch over and keep safe...but does that mean that Aaron is one of the Oceanic Six?????

Oh yeah, nice reference to the "BLood on My Hands" thing...I kinda died a little.

As far as Eggtown goes...hmm. Either we are all ignorant, or the writers were trying to figure out a title and just decided to name it eggtown because they were tired and wanted to go home...figuring people like you and I would go home and analyze their choice and give them a reason for the name eggtown...

Fun cast, great to hear from you guys again. I look forward to it every week.

BIG news on my blogspot, check it out, ok?

Sorry to double post, but I was thinking about your comments in the cast about Michael and Walt being possible members of the Oceanic 6...but this fits into my theory that THEY NEVER MAKE IT BACK....Michael and Walt will be back on the Island. Its the only way, Ben would not have let them go back due to the fact that he was expecting team freighter to look for him. If he really was a wanted man, do you really think he would let two captives go free and tell the world their stories and who had let them go?

I know, I know, I KNOW they are going to come back...and the recent evidence of team freighter's search party and Mile's accusations make it clear that Ben is watching his own back; Michael and Walt are NOT part of the Oceanic 6.

However, its kindof ironic that I got my first speeding ticket after finding out...I got money, then I am charged....Ahh, the humor in life.
