i can't wait, as it was "the best episode ever!"
Can someone please ease my restless spirit? I was in London and met a girl from Australia and told her that I loved Lost (figured it was relevant as the flight was from Sydney to LA). She says everyone in Australia loves Lost but she can't stand it. WTF? Anyways, she tells me something (without any provocation on my part) that could very much be spoiler adding that Australia gets their episodes long before the US.
IS THIS TRUE?!??!?!
weas...rest assured, Aus. is waaaaay behind the U.S. in airing LOST. I think it's a full season actually! They had these things on last year that were promos for the upcoming episodes and they were posed like they were teasing you in to some major LOST answers. They were often way off base. So, all that to say Australia is upsidedown when it comes to LOST. :)
Not to worry, weas. While Australia isn't a whole SEASON behind, the next episode they're getting (like, tomorrow) will be "Something Nice Back Home." So no, I think she was just being spiteful.
I hate people like that.
Thank God! The spoiler she told me didn't really make much sense. Since she wasn't a fan of the show I didn't think she would really know that. What I think she heard was just a theory.
Anyways:
Just to brag about the spoilerfreeness that I had last week. I was on vacation in Europe last week and therefor missed this last weeks episode as it aired. To avoid spoilers, I made sure everyone that I cared about who might try to contact me that I was going on radio silence from Friday at 4:00am (Thursday 9:00 CST) until I was able to watch the episode as I returned.
This included no facebook/gmail/answering phone calls/viewing text messages/listening to voice mails/calling friends & family to let them know I arrived home safe and sound.
So "yesterdays" episode was definitely best, and most satisfying, episode ever to me because of my dedication to not getting spoiled.

Wow, how weird it seemed to not get up the next day and hear what Brian and Chris had to say about the show...waiting desperately. Didn't realize how hooked I was on their podcasts.
